Magritte is a Language for Pipe-Based Programming

This shell have a pretty good thesis that solved these problems:

It is a viable general-purpose language: i.e. it is appropriatefor writing largeprograms.
It is a viable solution to the desktop-scripting problem: it is appropriateforscripting unrelated programs.
It is a viable solution to the shell-language design problem: it is usableas aninteractive system shell.

I think this is a really good research that we should take a look into.
