Thanks, looks good, I made a few minor comments. I'd be happy to merge the POM changes once they're addressed, without the Netbeans one (except if you can convince me they're necessary :wink: )

unfortunately, editorconfig is practically not working for netbeans (look at their issue list, and my own try basically did not work at all).
