Not able to run ReadMessages Example #446

I am installed all the required softwares to run smslib.
but i tried to run modem.ReadMessages examples its starts running
but in the meanwhile some exception occuring as log4j not initialized 
properly.what is should do.And gsm modem which is connected is starting.
m using nokia 3500 classic as gsm modem.
can any help me pls.

The log4j you are seeing is probably (if I understand you correctly) because 
"log4j.properties" is missing.

Apart from this message, does send/read work?
