I hacked together a custom jar from the latest stable version, TinyMCE 3.3.9.3.

I don't make any promises, but initial testing appears to work just fine.

I migrated the zIndex modifications as well.

Forgot to say, that was tested with Eclipse Helios, and GWT 2.2.0.

Am getting this error when using this version.

com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (TypeError): ed is undefined

But the editors still show up and works as expected.

Looks like it's the focusMCE(id); call in the onLoad()'s execute method that 
causes the exception.

@torgeir: how do you resolved your issue with the "(TypeError): ed is 
undefined". I got the same...

i am using this jar but when i opened font family / font size / fore clor/back 
color box it display box in the top left corner instead of relative to list box.
