Error Description

the router being used may have a firewall blocking traffic. Whatever DNS server your system is on could affect it as well. Can be solved by using a mobile hot spot

new news: change secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8 for a fix

I don’t engage 001-0502 on router error. But engage it on Luma Rosalina loading HBL. Once loaded Rosalina HBL on an application, Pokémon Bank, Fire Emblem Fates, and most in-game Internet connections (except eShop) fail to connect and result in 001-0502. After I unloaded Rosalina HBL, all the above can connect again.
