the point of the article is to build intuition for general point-set topology, so this is a pretty big omission.

I've added the epsilon-delta definition of continuity and proved it equivalent to the inverse image of open sets condition. I think the only thing left is to introduce "sequential" continuity (f continuous at x if every sequence converging to x has an "image sequence" converging to f(x))
