Auto Crop fails if "Postive images in night mode" is on

>What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. download the pdf from google drive:

and open it with EbookDroid.

2. Set Night mode and select "Postive images in night mode" and Crop 
Pages(auto), and Force portrait, and Fit to Height

3. page down several pages

auto cropping works for every page

> What do you see instead?

auto cropping doesn't work after navigating several pages

> What version of the product are you using?

v2.2.1

> On what operating system?

Android 4.2.2

> What device are you using?

Samsung Galaxy Mega, GT-I9200

This can be worked around by not turning "postive images" on. However, for some 
ebooks, the "positive images" mode is very good, and manually cropping a 
vertically-printed book is annoying.  I would appreciate if you can help fix it.

I tried to play around with auto cropping. Sorry, but I am unable to improve it 
for positive images.
