This PR introduces extensive updates to documentation and dependencies in preparation for an eventual CRAN release. In particular, linking across the documentation has been added, as have placeholders for fields that must be documented prior to CRAN submission. Additionally, several previously exported functions have been made internal. Many unnecessary dependencies have been removed, including xgboost and tidyverse, while the remotes field now includes only sl3.
