Example of Data with HTML for a URL ? #1988

Simple Question. The docs do not include any examples where the column is HTML. For example for a url is the entire ahref html formed in the grid data or do columns defs include html for stuff like onclick events and data just returns the url ? Same if I wanted a select dropdown on a column with an onchange. Am I doing all of the html in the grid json data ? Thanks Paul

Ignore this it is a custom event. Although a couple of examples with HTML would help a newbie.
