Many dependencies #43

Hi,

There are a lot of dependencies. Could you check that they are all needed?

I've added some notes into the Repo README about installing some of the packages from GitHub like {xaringanExtra} and {icons}. Due to another issue I've looked through slide deck 01 and all the packages are being used in that. As I/others go through these they can be ticked off here.

Using the renv to bring my system up to date with this repository I agree there are a lot of dependencies! It's taking quite a bit of time so needs a fuller review I think. Thanks.
