Summary

The design of the Open Data Portal created a complicated customer journey. It also had issues that needed to be addressed from an accessibility perspective.

Intended outcome

This work was to redesign the Open Data Portal layout, to make it accessible and to create the platform to meet the future workplan. The aim is to create a space for users to engage with the NHSBSA and each other on the open data.

How will it work?

The standard format of the Open Data Portal will be brought into line with the NHS service manual. It will also be designed to make it easier for users to find out latest information and more detail on the process for developing and maintaining datasets.

We have now redesigned the landing page of our Open Data Portal to better meet the NHS service manual and improve the user journey for the platform.
