We have useful prescribing dataset currently published on the NHSBSA website which makes it difficult to find and prevents access by API. This dataset will published on the ODP and all historic data migrated too
Intended outcome
The NHSBSA will publish a monthly data set and we have been working with NHS Improvement to produce a data set on prescribing in a hospital setting which has been dispensed in the community.
The data is related to items prescribed and dispensed in England.
The data fields include:
period name
BNF name
BNF code
hospital trust code
hospital trust name
quantity
total quantity
total items
total actual cost
total NIC
How will it work?
Our ODP team will work with the data warehouse team to re-pipe this data flow to the ODP and it will be published each month.
