Clarification: Scope of Organization

For the Virtual Wards telehealth use case, should the Organization related to the telehealth provider or the organisation responsible for delivery of care to the patient?

We will take this away for further clinical input, however it is likely that this decision is best made locally as it may vary dependent on site - sites should consider which organisation is most pertinent to the record. For example if there were issues or questions about the record, which organisation is best to contact?

Hi Rob,

Just to confirm on the above, the guidance is that the Organization resource should represent the clinical organisation responsible for delivering care to the patient, who will be creating and sharing the record. This is partly because organisation should be granular enough for the receiving organisation to identify the source e.g. a telehealth provider may span multiple virtual ward sites.
