In the native apps, back links are in included in the breadcrumb component. This contrasts the web experience, where back links are used at the bottom of the page as well as in breadcrumbs. The native back link/breadcrumb component is used for both navigating around the app and within transactional services inside the app. Exploration is needed into whether this causes issues for users and whether custom, app-specific guidance should be defined in relation to back navigation.
Additionally, there are inconsistencies as the native breadcrumbs label is always 'Back' and web browser breadcrumb label is 'Back to [page title]'. Some app pages and most integrated service pages are missing any breadcrumbs.
By making back navigation persistent and consistent, we can increase the usability and reliability of navigation in the app.
just me or do these seem too small? they feel out of place to me.
