Structure of the NHS App #59

What

Use this thread to discuss the structure ('information architecture') of the NHS App.

We know from research that people use the NHS App with specific tasks in mind. The information architecture should make completing those tasks as easy as possible.

The NHS App has a homepage and four hub pages. These pages connect users with services they can use and that lead deeper into the app.

Across all parts of the app, the options available to users depend on the services their GP surgery has turned on.

You can see the structure of the NHS App at a high-level by using the NHS App sitemap

The IA and Navigation Team has conducted research that informs the current structure of the NHS App. This includes tree testing and card sorting research activities: https://nhs.sharepoint.com/:u:/r/sites/X26_NHS_Online/SitePages/Welcome.aspx?csf=1&web=1&e=zo0fBk
