That's funny - the 'what' and 'why' I entered doesn't seem to be showing...sorry about that!

OK - sometimes, wifi is not reliable or even available for the operation of digital services 'off site'.

One example is school-aged immunisation services (SAIS). SAIS nurses find themselves typing into a spreadsheet offline, then needing to remember to upload it to the system later, when wifi becomes available. It's inefficient and prone to error.

One squad working within Vaccinations Digital Services is exploring an early-stage design that might help SAIS nurses to work better offline. They can enter vaccination details into the digital record and capture consent digitally while still offline.
