Can you check in the folder ~/.local/share/lutris, is there a file named pga.db ?

Try running

sudo chmod 666 ~/.local/share/lutris/pga.db

To allow everyone to read and write to that db, just to be sure

Can you try changing the LOl executable to Riot Client/RiotClientServices.exe and start the game again ? This would take longer to start, but I think it should work more stable

Oops, I didn't mean to send that screenshot, that was the wrong Riot Client. But I have already changed it to the one in the garena files. I just pressed start, I'm going to wait to see if anything happens, no logo comes out after I press play.

Your pastebin is set to private and I cannot see it. Also what is you external drive's file system ? NTFS is known to have a lot of problem

my SSD is ext4 and HDD is NTFS.

I have everything on my SSD. I have also successfully ran garena league and played a game doing the same procedure one month ago.

Are you using an NVIDIA gpu ? Is it laptop or PC Have you try to enable/disable the option Use descrete graphics in lutris ?

Yes, I am using NVIDIA GPU with the proprietary driver on a PC. So the descrete graphics is greyed out for me.

This is getting into a dead end 😞 . Have you try using an older version of the script ?

Yep, I've used several actually. But nothing is working, I wonder what happened between the last time I played it on the same PC and now. But it's fine, I'm just not gonna play it.

@Codiecher Hey, I think LOL got broke after the 11.17 update, please try updating to new wine-lol version (added in README) and try start the game again
