Indicators for divider position are confusing #20

The label shows the position, not the divider. The main purpose is not to show which divider and what position, but the location of the divider position when in a different mode.

Looking at this diagram, the user will be clear that setting the position at 1 in vertical mode will result in the divider being at on top, and not the bottom.

I think you missed out on the header when you are looking at the images

Reason for disagreement: As a user, the screenshot looks unnecessarily complex and even after reading the response, it is hard to tell what the labels are pointing at, other than making the screenshot look like a grid.

This is compounded by the fact that none of the labels seem to align to any of the horizontal or vertical dividers as you would expect.

The image attached below attempts to showcase the misalignment between application dividers and their supposed divider labels, extending on application dividers with yellow lines.
