What does this Pull Request accomplish?

Convert the output of the generator function to a list before using.

Why should this Pull Request be merged?

Fixes an issue caused by #177 that causes ALL VI diffs to fail. After using the generator function to determine the amount of VIs to diff, the second call is empty.

What testing has been done?

PR builds with one modified VI to prove the change works (before and after the change)
