Looks pretty good to me. Is it mostly the size of the image driving the RAM usage? Or do you think it's the Zarr conversion (bioformats program)?
input image size - I had to crop something down to get it to run on my machine. Running on HPC seems less of an issue, they have ~1000 Gigs of RAM
