Not sure what's happening exactly, but when I use the update fic function it's able to get the urls of the incomplete fics at the normal speed, but when it tries to "re-download incomplete works" the program runs extremely slow. Slow enough that the request a break never gets triggered. This is regardless of whether the fic actually needs to be downloaded.
Issue began about a week ago, but if I download via "download from ao3 link" I don't have any problems with the speed. I deleted everything and reinstalled the code, but that didn't fix the issue. Also tried using a different ao3 account, updating a different folder, and using different formats for both check for update and download type. Are you experiencing this slow down on your end?
