I'm not able to repo the weapon views not saving. They're saved even after
switching weapons and dying.
That message appeared in an older build of 3.0 but was suppose to be fixed. Set
developer_mode to 4 and try loading the map again to get more details

ive been getting the weapon view issue too. in my case i will adjust the view
and save it. then i pick up another weapon. then when i tab back to the weapon
it will (sometimes) be reset to default.
most consistent culprit for me is when i pick up a sniper my pistol will reset.

Thanks for the replies. Kornmann I did what you said and I now get this error
message http://puu.sh/1TnZb
As for the weapon view saving that seems to be on and off, when I loaded halo
the AR & pistol views were the same as when I left them, but I switched the
weapons around a bit and they went back to default.

I've been able repro the weapon views not saving in once instance, when picking
up the oddball and/or flag. Has this been seen in normal gameplay? I.e., not by
loading a map and spawning weapons to pick up?

yes, its where i first saw it. load a BG lan game, pick up the sniper
(replacing AR) and my pistol position resets. most of the time anyway; its not
a consistent bug but once it happens youre stuck with it until you pick up
another weapon (again not guaranteed to fix it).

The crash with Kirby's map is random, since your the only one who has had it
before.
Also, OS hasn't been able to save weapon views until OpenSauce Version 3.03 and
has stopped again with the release of OS V3.1. So my guess is that its
disabled, needs fixing, or is a bug that needs fixed.
Anyway it saves randomly instead of not saving at all such as in prior versions
of OS 3.03. (The Versions before OS 3.03.)

I believe Kirby's map was made with a build of OS that had some incorrect
script definitions. We verify the map's definitions with the ones in the build
in memory. In some conditions, a mismatch can cause an exception, which is why
we show the 'oshi-' message box.
Note: When I tried to repo this (in that reply from earlier), I was testing on
a Snipers game on BG. I was able to save custom views for the pistol and
sniper, and have them load again on death and weapon switch.
FS: Was that instance with 3.1, or with our 3.1.1 code?
