TEAM K8

  1. What's the point of curating a pool of people who work on open source projects if people are just looking for friends? How did the CSE major get in contact with the other person?
  2. Where did the first-person video of the bike route come from? Where does the bike route come from? What problems other than the quality of the bike route would the app provide? (e.g. where potholes are, if there's a bike lane on a certain road)
  3. Scope needs to be more specific. Is this meant for UCSD? Is this a clone of Google Maps? If it is different than Google Maps, how do you plan on getting the path/route data?
  4. How does this app build the trip itinerary? How is this different than trip adviser?
  5. Where does the map part of this app come in? If most games are played over the internet, would people want something that enables them to meet in person?
  6. How will you determine which sites are "busy"? Where will this data come from?
  7. Where is the map/geographic part of this? This sounds like tinder for cats lmao
  8. Where is the map/geographic part of this? How will this be different or better than current solutions for finding pet sitters?

Feedback from FoundingFathers (K9) - Bike Map - Nice for specific audience, Seems kind of hard to implement - can help bikers be more safe (road conditions) Finding less crowded place - I like this idea, it solves the problem of finding a place to get food quickly. However, it doesn't seem technically feasible. The cat and dog (7 and 8) ones don't seem compelling and they only marginally involve geography (note: after giving feedback, the group explained how it uses location data to find 'where to go'), also, how would this be better (or even as good as) than current solutions

Feedback from K8 Hookah:

The bike path, open source, and dog sitting storyboards were interesting!

You could definitely expand on the bike path storyboard to make it encompass any type of road instead of just bike paths. That would expand your user base. You had a lot of interesting ideas but we would recommend trying to find something more creative or more unique, because some of the storyboards were more general and similar products could be found on Google Play / iOS app store.
