Nice hash miner no longer working after update #1244

Hello,

I just received a notification for an update and now the client isn't running.

On start up the client displays a message that it can not find any compatible devices. Of course, I have compatible devices and was mining just fine!!!

Mine Nicehash miner stopped working aswell. After update to new client, on startup it takes ages to pass check on excavator server, when finally gets to default UI asks for benchmark but never do. Waited over 30 mins, restarted PC, deleted previous benchmarks from folder -nothing happens.

Same here... cannot benchmark while being asked to do so, and before all of this it takes 5 minutes minumum to load through to UI after excavator server... fix???

after the update to 2.0.1.0 beta...it stopped. i cant mine anymore. how come? nicehashnotworking2

tried pressing the start mining and the start icon....its not working.

i tried also turning off the gpu by pressing the hadware details and it can only work now on cpu but not mining...this is the actual screen. nicehashnotworking3

Has anyone tried running excavator.exe manually? I've reinstalled the previous version for now but I'm thinking that either the call to excavator has an error or there is an error within excavator.

same problem. no algos showing. takes ages loading past excavator server call. previous NH worked fine. windows 10 and 2 x GTX1070

Any responses from the developers? @nicehashdev

I'll perform some troubleshooting because even my old client is acting wonky and not producing output like it normally does.

I think it's a connectivity problem where the program is being attacked by firewalls or other antivirus/whatever stuff. I uninstalled Bitdefender and problems vanished.

They brought out a newer version 2.0.1.1, which solved the problem for me with my 2 x GTX1070's.

If you haven't already done so, upgrade and it should work. It's disappointing Nicehash didn't acknowledge there was a problem or advise upgrading the version themselves! Guess they are making too much more to worry about the little guys.
