NHM Cannot connect to servers #1371

The Excavator program keeps telling me I have lost connection and the hash rate is stuck at 0. I tried CPU mining and I got this error:

SOCKET ERROR - CONNECT error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

I have used the NHM before and it worked just fine. However, it has not been working since the recent security breach.

I have tried it on two computers with a GTX 970 and a GTX 750 Ti. They both connected previously but now they don't connect at all.

I am getting the same issue with my Ryzen Cpu, using Nicehash Miner legacy v1.8.15. Trying to connect to pool cryptonight.eu.nicehash.com:3355 keeps telling me, SOCKET ERROR - CONNECT error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it, Need help.

Had the same issue last night. Appears to be working fine for me now.

Same problem here currently. I dont think its Bitdefender as Ive added exceptions...

I have this problem with GPU but it works with CPU, I'm new to mining so have no idea what to do

My CPU mining stopped working now too

The CPU mining is working now for me, and had the CPU mining for a day with out any problems so far, Thanks.

It’s an issue with nicehash! Basically since their difficulty is so high 200,007 when the miners can’t submit a share in sometime it resets connection and don’t let us connect (IMO)
