6 years ago I have the same problem since updated to Nicehash version 2.0.1.9 BETA. When I started Nicehash, once the Excavator screen is detecting all 6 CUDA devices (1080Ti) and begin mining then it just froze after 5-10 seconds. The fan is spinning loudly and hang... RESET is the next step. Nothing that I change in Nicehash will solve the freezing problem.
I mined using other miners like xmr-stak or ccminer or cpuminer with all my graphics cards had no problems. Does anyone know why?
I am thinking of going back to version 2.0.1.5 as the LISTED last STABLE version to try again. Quite disappointed lately with all the forced BETA update from 2.0.1.6 to 2.0.1.8 then 2.0.1.9 (all BETA versions).
I have a 6 GPU that has 1070 and 1070ti, everything has been running fine, but the last couple weeks every time I check on the rig it is frozen and I have to restart. I have tried narrowing down the algos that could be causing problems, but right now I have equihash, all the dagger algos, neoscrypt, nist5, all shut off but I am still getting the freezing. Over the last couple days I have experimented with shutting others off such as keccak, lyra, cryptonight, blake2s, etc. Any algo that was being mined when the rig froze I have tried turning off, and riht now I have all the ones I listed first off. Can anyone help me with this? My rig doesn't freeze when using ccminer on pools.
