[11:27:16] [ComputeDeviceManager.Query] AMD GPU device count BAD!!!
@MACE-Zer0 did this issue happened after the driver update? Was it working before?
i did the update to the 16.12.1 , and second card was detected and not mining , so i rebooted the pc , after that nicehash stopped detecting 2nd card , so i reverted to the old drivers 16.11.1, but now its still not detecting it , iv tried old version of nicehash same thing , iv tried a new install of nicehash still doesnt detect it , it could be because of new drivers , i have other pcs i havent updated , and they working fine , not going to update to 16.12.1 anymore , only trouble
it was working yes before i updated ...
We will check if the new drivers have some breaking changes with the OpenCL detection. In case we find an issue I will post a replacement file that is detecting the GPUs OpenCL indexes (with instructions...). If it turns out that the driver is broken or that it breaks the current mining software best to keep old drivers until it is resolved. It seems that also ethminer is broken with the new drivers. I'll update this thread with our findings...
This was clearly the 16.12.1 drivers that did something at a configuration level , i formated the whole pc , reinstalled everything , and now its working again with both cards and the old drivers , so i recommend anyone to dont install the new amd drivers until nicehash has checked them properly , because they only do harm ... no good
Hi my nicehash stopped detecting my second card , iv done a lot of tests , diferent drivers , same result , tested individualy the cards and they worked fine , nicehash detects fine when its only one , when i put them together they are detected in window s, and all the software , even nicehash in the debug console detects them but doesnt put the 2nd one available , i have other machines with 2x480 and the are working fine so far , only this one , and i cant seem to make it work , here is the debug console log
