+1, can confirm. Happens to me too on Windows 10.
Enabling "Hide Mining Windows" fixes the issue. The creation of the miner windows makes it appear that the user is no longer idle, causing the idle mining to terminate itself.
Was having problems where the mine cmd window would crash immediately after opening. Unchecked the idle mine fixed it.
I am having same issue, and hiding mining windows does not change anything. The miner starting immediately triggers it to see the machine as no longer idle..
I just starting using NiceHash and had this same issue. This post led me to the culprit. I was running a Plex server on the same machine and I believe that caused NiceHash to view the machine as not idle. For anyone else that has this problem, make sure you don't have anything running in the background on your machine. For me the only fix was to shut down Plex, or uncheck "Start mining when idle" in NiceHash.
I was having problems with idle mine so I set it to 5 seconds to test and it opens the miner command prompt then it closes within seconds.
