I'm running an amd fx8350 I copied the correct executable and renamed it to cpuminer.exe and it mines correctly.
I am using fx8320 and my Lyra2z is terminated in benchmark.. Can anyone help??
arc3521 rename cpuminer-aes-sse42.exe to cpuminer.exe in the folder bin\cpuminer_opt\
Currently Crypto Night v7 will make more money with your hardware than lyra2z.
Thanks Professor it works.. And another thing is that my cpu got a benchmark speed of 140 H/s in CryptonightHeavy, is it ok or it needs any tweek??
Professor-jonny, In my case there was already file with name cpuminer.exe i tried to rename it to xxx_old.exe and keep the other one... upon nicehash initialization, program complained that files are missing and it did auto re-download whole package, extracted it and everything came back to step 1. I was not able to complete benchmark with lyra2z... with your method... any other suggestions?
@m03e5 you have README file in the miners directory. Check you CPU type and select the exe that matches your CPU capabilities. Rename cpuminer to cpuminer.old. Next step rename the selected exe to cpuminer.exe and try to run the benchmark. If you are uncertain what exe matches you CPU the best try each and use the option with best results.
@Simaex, worked great 8) thanks for the "Boost"
Issue related to old nhm version/build. Please use latest version and open a new issue for bugs and/or features.
The Lyra2Z cpu mining window closes instantly upon running nicehash is selecting the wrong exe for my cpu it should be selecting cpuminer-aes-sse42.exe.
