gtx 1080ti - black screen after some benchmarks #250

hello just got myself a gtx 1080 ti. (game rock edition ;s )

somewhere during the benchmarking process it appears my gpu gives up on outputting to my monitors resulting in a black screen. meaning i have to restart my pc.

i will run each benchmark individually to decipher which is causing the problem and report back.

annoyingly or not.......while trying each benchmark individually i havnt encountered the same problem. all benchmarks ran perfectly.

card has been mining for the past 2 hours without a hitch.

skunk decided to get stuck in a continual loop of opening then closing. have deselected it and once again all is well

im starting to think my gtx 1080ti is defective. :(

im running dagger hashimoto only and i still get random screen blackouts. its weird cuz the computer still seems functional (kept playing youtube musics, and making the unplug replug usb noises when i plug in a usb device etc) but there is no output to the screen.

fixed it (sort of, i think). changed my primary display from the display port socket to the dvi. screens have stopped unrecoverably blacking out and think that was causing other issues including this one.

so far so good....... sorry about my other post that this one stems from. i will amend/close them both if all goes well in the next day or two.
