I set an overclock and power limit on my NVIDIA GPU in MSI Afterburner
I launch NiceHash 3.1.1.2
I start mining and notice that NiceHash has reset my OC to stock (so my GPU consumes 180 W instead of 100 W)
I stop mining, re-apply MSI Afterburner OC
I start mining and my OC setting remains (GPU consumes 100 W)
-This implies the OC is reset only at NHM launch
This problem doesn't exist in 3.1.0.4 with "Disable Device Power Mode Settings" setting checked, but since the setting is gone in 3.1.1.2 I cannot find a way of fixing it.
I'm confused why this isn't an option with the new "Bundles" feature.
Perhaps this issue can be considered a clone of #1602 "Feature Request: Turn off Nicehash Power and other GPU settings" which can be reopened. That issue appears to be the origin of the "Disable Device Power Mode Settings" option.
Also, issue #2921 "I am using another tool for managing my video card's fans (such as MSI Afterburner) and fan speed is occasionally reset to automatic. How can I fix this?" has a response saying "Hi, the next version will have a toggle to disable all automatic tweaking and stuff like that" but it seems this was not implemented.
Looks like "Disable Device Power Mode Settings" was removed in some version between 3.1.0.4 (confirmed present) and 3.1.1.2 (gone)
Replaced by a feature called "Bundles" https://www.nicehash.com/guide/nicehash-optimize-guide
