Nicehash 2.0.0.7 - Unable to complete benchmarks #98

I have a Core i5-6600k and 3x XFX RX 580 8GBs running ReLive 17.6.2 under Windows 10 64-bit. When I attempt to benchmark anything using ClaymoreAMD Equihash. It seems the benchmark tries to run, then exits/skips it right away for every video card. There appears to be an error in the log about this.

I also have the excavator server error talked about in another issue thread (I don't know if that is related), I have already installed VC 2013 86x/64 redist.

Also, Everytime I start NH2007, it says Claymore Zcash miner is downloading... every.. single.. time. log.txt

Thank you for submitting the log with the issue. Sometimes the "downloading every time" issue is resolved after a reboot of the computer. We think it has something to do with file locking. We are looking into it. Would you mind trying that and reporting back if that solves it? It could also be linked to the other issue as well.

I am going to try something a bit different to see if it resolves the issue since you mention file locking. I have NH1.7.5.13 set to auto start with the system (I do shut the old NH off before running the 2.x though). I will disable this and reboot and see what happens when I run NH2007.

My first attempt at rebooting did not resolve the issue.

Okay, so rebooting didn't help at all. I looked into my roaming profile while it was downloading Claymore Zcash, and in tmp_bins, the .zip file is being created, but it doesn't seem to be successfully extracting to bin_3rdparty, as I only have 3 listings in there. My manual workaround atm was to download win_0.0.6_claymore_zcash.zip and extract it to bin_3rdparty... and while NH2007 is still trying to download Claymore Zcash at startup, I now appear to be benchmarking correctly.

I was going to attempt to copy the claymore_zcash.zip that was being downloaded and run a checksum on it, but tmp_bins is being deleted too quickly for me to grab it in time.

I have the same issue as above, claymore-zcash constantly downloading, sgminer not benchmarking and excavator not benchmarking either. The log shows ""sgminer.exe: --sched-stop: Invalid time set,"" which may be the cause of the sgminer issue. No idea why excavator can't benchmark though. If I run excavator as standalone it is fine.
