Completely froze my PC, then deleted itself. Are you deploying a virus or what is going on? #322

After I ran nheqminer.exe -h, my taskbar froze and Windows became unusable / didn't respond anymore. I had to do a hard reset. After that I discovered that the nheqminer.exe file has disappeared (the dlls are still present through). Is this some kind of rootkit? To be sure, I reported this repository as abuse (possible malware / rootkit), but even if this is just a bug: What the hack have you done there? If I run with the parameter -h, you app has one job: Display help. Even this is completely messed up. How messy is the actual algorithm then?

This is developed by NiceHash. The organization is infamous.

No top miners contain viruses but most virus checkers eventually remove them. Add it to your exceptions.
