A lot of keys don't work under KDE/Wayland. Explore udev mapping in linux with some of the custom keys I already defined first before adding any more. If that plays nicely with KDE/QT and Wayland then go forward. See https://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?t=24076 for udev mapping
