Launchpad Sort not in alphabetical order #1

Hey, appreciate the lift on LaunchPad Sort. Helpful idea that I'm also trying implement. However, I'm finding that sorting by apps.title doesn't seem to work (Monterey and Ventura). Order is seemingly random after the first page. I believe it is sorting based on UUID.

Hi, I currently use these scripts regularly, and while lauchpad-reset effectively leaves the custom applications in a seemingly-random but stable order, launchpad-sort effectively sorts the second and following page applications alphabetically. Can you describe the use you have of the scripts?

Hi there, the desired usage is exactly as you describe: sort the second and following pages of applications alphabetically. However, I'm finding that launchpad-sort results in a seemingly random but stable order. This persists across multiple computers, tested on Monterrey and Ventura.

Hi,

I recently changed the way to restart the Dock in the scripts, does it resolve your issue? I regularly use the scripts on Sequoia with success.
