could you please create a tag to use this package using melpa stable [1]. Thanks

I would really like this as well. I have been using Marmalade to get this package instead, as we discussed previously, but marmalade's https certificate has run out!

+1 for this. noflet is used in ecukes so I can't easily test my package with dependencies from stable until this makes it in.

Is there anything that needs doing to make this happen?

Hell could freeze over.

What about getting noflet into ELPA?

nicferrier commented 9 years ago

In fact Stefan asked about that. It may happen. I very time constrained these days. And not really feeling the love to be honest.

nicferrier commented 9 years ago

PS marmalade's SSL certificate is now valid again.

phillord commented 9 years ago

Nic, I feel bad about the whole feeling the love thing! I know that you have put a lot of work in lots of Emacs infrastructure, and that includes Marmalade. We seem to have three independent infrastructures for packages now, I am not sure that they are sufficiently different for that to make sense, esp. given that we tend to packages duplicated across two or three of them.

In terms of ELPA, I've done the process with my own packages, and am helping with getting another in. I'm happy to help with getting noflet in. Let me know if that would help.

Thanks for fixing the SSL certificate!

It's free software. You can do what you want.
