10 years ago More in general, it's unfortunate there's no way (as far as I can tell) to tell the user "hey, this package is known broken or insecure, please consider uninstalling it" or something like that.
- Security-wise, Emacs is maybe not the main attack vector, but such a mechanism might turn out to be important (after all, there are enough high-value Emacs users).
- Even without security concerns, I'd have been happy to know the problems I originally experienced were due to magithub and not to magit — I'd have remembered a warning telling me that magithub is unsupported.

Please remove magithub. In magit/magit#1360, tarsius told me right now that it is broken, and linked for details on a similar request on milkypostman/melpa#1126. In particular, magithub "uses v2 of the Github api which has been disabled more than a year ago", and is unmaintained, and I hope that's enough for removal.
