Thanks for this, it's useful. Any thoughts on supporting Marathon backends with basic auth enabled? I suspect token (with e.g. an auth proxy) would be easier to implement in a provider, but just curious - I haven't dug too deeply yet.

This turned out to be quite simple..closing, I created a pull request.
