Ok, so my thought here is to override the SetPixel matrix function, but I am not sure if that makes the most sense tbh

My best idea so far:
Overwrite the Matrix.SetImage class and make it so that it uses the alpha layer and skip writing if alpha is 0
IMAGE.putalpha(alpha)
