Adds an obligatory alt tag to the syntax:

Shouldn't the alt tag be optional and whyot taking it from the options?

It should be optional. I needed it fast for my thesis so I hacked it in because I never wrote a line of Perl. The PR is rather to share what I did so a proper solution can be done more easily.
