Hi, I followed this guide and used the correct pull up resistors but I used them on the right side instead of the left (by accident) but I thought it would work. If I compile with use serial in my config.h everything works but if I compile with use serial commented and use i2c uncommented it doesn't. The left side works but the right side doesn't ever seem to connect to windows or anything when I hook up the TRRS cable. If I hook up the right side by itself with micro usb it acts like the mirrored left side because the right isn't master.

Any ideas? I could use serial (and will for now) but I'd prefer to get I2C working.

Please let me know if there is any more informaiton I can provide for this. Thanks!

Hey @Slimmer556 I'd recommend asking on r/olkb or r/mechanicalkeyboards.

Will do, thanks.

I don't want to reopen this but I did want to comment that I found a solution... I didn't solder the jumpers labelled W1 together the PCBs to use I2C. Is in this guide but I somehow didn't understand it or read over it wrong. @nicinabox Thanks for the awesome guide!

This build log has a picture of the jumper on both pcbs located under the D17 diode. https://imgur.com/a/U3DCy#7mN76x7
