3d-view auto rotation option is a great feature to visualize 3 dimensional 
graphs.

Professional 3-D data visualization can be provided with ScalaLab with the 
VISAD package that is a ScalaLab standard library and can be used from 
ScalaLab. However, to fully utilize VISAD one has to program with its native 
interface, which although is very well documented is rather difficult to use.
A Matlab-like VISAD interface already exists but supports up to now 
relatively few features.
