Add Spotify referral link #48

Thinking of adding a Spotify referral link somewhere so that one or both of us could potentially get a month of Spotify for free. Was thinking of having one of ours up until that one gets 5 referrals and then put the other up until that one gets 5 etc. Also might just have a bit of php to determine which one to display, like maybe a simple database check or file check or we can just manually change them. Anything else, @namklabs ?

Maybe a nice little message to help make people more willing to click on the referral link/button, or something?

Also, this is only available to people in the US, so maybe even have a way to detect if the user is in the US or not and display it only when they are, with php or javascript. @namklabs have you done anything like that before...?

I have not detected region before. Timezone via JavaScript Date() comes to mind, but that isn't enough. You'd probably have to use IP?

Okay I was thinking something like: "Help us out by joining Spotify and get a special offer. Also, all Spotify apps can scrobble to last.fm!" ...or... "Help us out by signing up for Spotify and get a special offer. Also, all Spotify apps can scrobble to last.fm!" ...or... "We both love Spotify, help us out by signing up for Spotify and get a special offer. Also, all Spotify apps can scrobble to last.fm!"

Also, the Entypo icon set on icomoon.io has the spotify logo :)

helpus Maybe it'll look something like this? And of course with the Spotify logo instead. It says "Help us out just by joining Spotify!" but I'm thinking of removing 'just', so "Help us out by joining Spotify!"
