Degrading quality of icons on iPad 4 #3

When using Iconbundles to create my theme I noticed that the icons looked blurry and not as crisp as the actual exported files looked. So to see if it was just how the iPad renders them I tried theming through the standard method and saw that the icon was as sharp as it should be. What I want to know is has anyone had this issue and if its a bug with Iconbundles.

Another bit of information that I have on this issue is I noticed that my icon didn't theme with the extension ~ipad@2x for retina, instead it only themed when using the non-retina ~ipad. So maybe there is a bug with Iconbundles down-sampling the icon thinking it is a non-retina device.

This happens to me too. iPod 5. iOS 8.1.2

Did you ever find a fix?
