Sounds fail in Windows #9

either "speaker" or "wav" or both cause a complete hang in Windows.

I have stubbed the sound function in my local to bypass it.

It appears the wav and speaker packages only work on Mac. This is semi-fixed in 0.5.0 where sound is disabled by default, but it would be better if there was a windows sound solution as well.
