Great, thanks for letting us know. It will be a few weeks until I can get back to diogenes development, but I'll be sure to fix that bug then. I upgraded to Debian Stretch recently too, so it shouldn't be hard to debug.
Thank you very much, because it was a pity that this software wasn't developed for so long time. In the meanwhile I found a serious bug, that I'll report when I'll have some time.
Hi @Doc73, please do report whatever other bug(s) you find to the issue tracker, it's important we get things as stable and great as we can for the upcoming release :)
Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot about this!
I'll do some tests and give some hints in few days. :-)
Here is other output of Diogenes:
[Sat Nov 4 14:59:32 2017] diogenes-server.pl: File /home/domenico/Scaricati/Programmi/Diogenes/diogenes-nwjs/diogenes-browser/perl/favicon.ico not found!
[Sat Nov 4 14:59:32 2017] diogenes-server.pl: File /home/domenico/Scaricati/Programmi/Diogenes/diogenes-nwjs/diogenes-browser/perl/favicon.ico not found!
[Sat Nov 4 14:59:42 2017] diogenes-server.pl: Use of uninitialized value $method in lc at (eval 26) line 7, <SCRIPT> line 2.
[Sat Nov 4 14:59:58 2017] diogenes-server.pl: Use of uninitialized value $method in lc at (eval 26) line 7.
BTW, it seems working.
The favicon error appeared also while building of the server and stopped building it.
I finally got around to fixing regexp warning recently, in commit edf6188f.
I'll see if I can chase down those other warnings you found too, many thanks for that!
I think this issue can be closed. The main remaining source of console errors happens when the browser cannot find the target and overruns the end of a work.
Dear Developer, I just found your repo. I use a Debian Stretch system, with Perl v. 5.24.1.
The perl server works, but this is the error I receive when I launch diogenes-server:
Thanks in advance, DC
