You have wired up the comparator backwards, moron.
So, I've rewired it the right way round. I'm not sure how much difference this will make tbh as we are only measuring pulses and this should work either way.
Tbemh i'm not sure why the circuit is working the way it is with a "zone" of activity in the middle and nothing either side. I would have expect a single on/off bifurcation.
Seems to be fine now
Something seems to be drifting. It works fine for about 12 hours then either goes crazy or stops being sensitive at all. The reference voltage to the comparator is not changing so it must be either the gpio pin or the peizo circuit somehow.
