Unable to set media hotkeys #192

On trying to set hotkeys (using the volume up and down keys on media keyboard) I receive an error message saying "Could not grab the following HotKeys". Setting "Ctrl +" works, but unsure why the unmodified keys don't. I am using i3 on Ubuntu 21.04.

Edit - my mistake. Another app already claimed the hotekys that I was not aware of.
