RFE: Timer for open data access #23

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

This is not an issue. Just an Request for enhancement (RFE).

I'll like to set a timer in minutes, so when I open connection, after N
minutes the data access is automatically closed.

This will allow open data access, but if I doesn't remember to close it,
APNdroid does it for me automatically.

RFE: I didn't open a new ticket as it might get along with this well.

It would be a marvelous enhancement if an APN is turned off after N minutes of
"idle activity". This shouldn't affect any active connection but the mechanism
would prevent further data sync/transfer without user's discretion.

Should work great with data plan which charge on connect time (mine).
