APNdroid freezing after awake on HTC Desire (sometimes freezing unlock pulldown) #54

APNdroid, freshly installed from Market to a unrooted HTC Desire.

I have noticed that for some reason APNdroid seems to freeze after device
awakening. I tap on APNdroid widget icon couple times but nothing happens for
minutes, then all tap-induced switches happen at once as if the app has been
frozen. I also noticed one very particulary strange behavior where I couldn't
unlock my phone - the Sense UI on my HTC Desire would not react to touch and
pulldown - for about a minute then it worked. Given this happens immediarely
after installing APNdroid (no other app installed of particular potential to
brick a 'droid) I wonder whether this is some inherent bug in APNdroid that
needs to be resolved.

Also...

My HTC Desire has started randomly rebooting while asleep since using Tasker
for Android (supporting Locale plugins) with APNdroid to turn off mobile data
at a preset location. I've hard 2 reboots within 3-4 hours, which is troubling
matter. Given I've noticed problems with APNdroid such as (a) widget not
responding after awake for a minute; and (b) my unlock slider freezing once for
a minute not allowing me to unlock my phone, I am willing to credit problems to
APNdroid with HTC Desire. I've turned off the Tasker process that triggers
APNdroid for now to see whether those random reboots will continue. For now it
seems using APNdroid with Tasker (at least, may be a global Locale problem) is
problematic.
